April 25, 2025 we found Hope.  We have spent over $10,000 on momma and her pups since that time.  Hope was starving, very pregnant, covered in ticks (she had hundreds) and was abandoned out in the country.   The night we brought her home, she had 9 puppies. We love them so much!  They are growing like weeds and, of course, have a lot of expenses.  Food, supplemental milk, veterinary care which includes spay and neuter, kennel pads, toys for teething, and so much more.

All of this with only a single $50 donation to help.  We are trying to recoup some of our loss so we can continue to care for them. I will do everything I can to keep us up and running.  We need your help to continue!  Please help us continue to care for these pups by making a donation.

Critter Haven Association is a non-profit organization. We have no paid employees and are completely staffed by volunteers.

Our adoption fees rarely cover the care we provide for the pet from the time we receive them until the time they are adopted.  All pets are spay/neutered and up to date on vaccines. Any medical issues or testing are paid for from donations.

We frequently take dogs into our program who have health issues such as emaciated, broken bones, upper respiratory infections, skin problems, heartworms, and numerous other issues.  We mainly focus on dogs that are considered "broken" or have been through unimaginable circumstances.  We do everything within our power to help these dogs experience happiness again, or for the 1st time in some cases, and become healthy animals.

There are also other costs that are involved in running an animal rescue. Foster parents need supplies, food, kennels, bedding, flea and tick preventatives, medical care and more.  There is also the cost of leashes, collars, food bowls and more. Without donations, we simply could not fulfill our mission to help as many animals as possible.
