BSL Is Here To Stay

Like it or not Breed Specific Legislation is here to stay. One of the worst frailties of the human race is it's penchant to take the easy way out. Blame the dog.. he can't talk back. His irresponsible owners are full of excuses as to why they're not the culprit. Besides, unlike dogs, they vote and pay taxes.
Addressing the real issues of crime,
poverty, animal abuse, ignorance, greed

January 12, 2007 Royal City, Washington banned Pit Bulls and
Rottweilers which by the way also includes 6 Pit Bulls who serve the public
every day in the Washington State Police K-9 Unit. As of December
2006, thirty eight states have enacted BSL on a statewide level or in certain
municipalities. Of these, pit bulls and Rottweilers are the breeds that
are most likely to be banned. The Rottweiler and the Pit Bull are American
dogs but because of some really crappy breeder/owners they are in danger of
becoming something that you can only find in a history book. What can we
do to stem the tide of ignorance? I'm not sure but we have to contact our
legislators and educate them on the merits of the two breeds. Apparently
